Sarenna manages accounts and ordering for Boy Baby, a babies' clothing shop. She's a good typist and regularly used the numeric keys and mathematical functions on her desktop full-size alphanumeric keyboard.

When the company switched to Windows XP, she got a new computer. Unfortunately the keyboard felt very clunky and slowed her down. The technical manager suggested a better quality USB keyboard, a great improvement.

However, the business recently changed to flexi-time and working from home: the desktop computer became redundant and she got a notebook computer.

But, with no separate number keys, completing orders and filling in spreadsheets was very fiddly. The NUM LOCK key was on and off a thousand times a day and, as the keboard was often in the wrong mode, she made mistakes.

As travelling with a separate full-size keyboard was not very practical, she bought a small USB Numeric Keypad and, immediately, all the problems were resolved.
