Microsoft AutoRoute 2002 European is included with the GPS RX. However, if you want the very latest map set, you'll need the latest version.

AutoRoute 2004 has up-to-date maps of over 2.5 million miles of roads in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. In less detail, the map even covers parts of Eastern Europe.
Compared to AutoRoute 2002, you get more international maps, improved city maps, and better local detail. It includes petrol stations, train stations, motorway services, hotels, pubs, 128 000 restaurants, 33 000 cash machines, parks, rivers, museums, and thousands of places of interest.

AutoRoute can find the best route, whether you're travelling to the next town or across Europe. It's easy to plan a journey, change it, and add stops. Simply give AutoRoute your starting point and your destination, and it will produce a map and a full set of door-to-door directions which you can print or email.

If you want to find out which places are in reach from a particular location, use the new Drive Time Zone feature. It shows you the different places you can reach by car in a certain amount of time. You can then use Find Nearby Places to discover the local attractions.

AutoRoute 2004 has a polished interface that lets you plot routes easily. A smart search engine enables you to find places, postcodes, partial addresses, places of interest, and near matches.
You can even set waypoints and find the best route, taking account of your typical driving speeds, how long you like to drive without a break, how many miles per litre you usually get, and the price of fuel. You can also set different journey types, based on time, distance, or preferred roads, for example: you can say that you don't like driving on motorways.
